Hicham Kamel (Executive Chef)

Hicham received his Technical Baccalaureate in Culinary Arts from Sagesse University, Beirut, Lebanon in 2001. During the course of his studies, he was enthusiastic about working with Michelin Star Chefs and learning from their vast experiences. He worked with Michelin Star Executive Chefs Pascale Silman, Jack Bruneaux, and David Jobert. He also worked with Italian Chefs Pascale Porcida and Culinary Artist Chef Gianfranco Chiarini. During the course of his career he received the best training and work experience by working in 5 star hotels like Sofitel Le Gabriel and Hotel Monroe in Lebanon. He also worked in high end restaurants such as Salmontini (La Maison du Saumon) in both Beirut and Dubai. From 2007 till 2014, Hicham was the Chef at La Cigal Hotel (5 star) in Doha, Qatar. He was responsible for the fine dining restaurants, the buffet, the a la carte cuisine, and Live Cooking stations. He always had a passion for live cooking and won the Silver Medal at Diyafa Qatar Food Exhibition. Hicham also received many training certificates in HACCP, Food Safety & Hygiene, Customer Experience Edge (Dining Experience) and many others. As part of his new journey to combine his culinary skills with a healthy flair, Hisham decided to join the Slim’n Lite team, to realize his dream of making healthy food a unique fine dining experience.

 

Magno Antoa (Executive Pastry Chef)

Magno earned his degree, with distinction, in Hotel Management with emphasis on Baking and Confectionary and minor in Applied Nutrition in 1987, in India. Post graduation, he moved to Saudi Arabia and worked for a high-end Baking and Confectionaries Company for twelve years, in the position of Chef and Production Supervisor. He moved to Qatar in 2000, where he worked as a Pastry Chef in National Catering Company, Doha. His true aim was to combine his baking and pastry skills with his knowledge in Nutrition, and thus deliver tasty, yet heart healthy slim treats. As such, when our sister company opened in Qatar in 2004, he joined Slim’n Lite Doha and helped set up the delicious yet healthy menu. In 2005, Magno moved to Abu Dhabi and started his journey with Slim’n Lite-UAE, where he takes the position of Executive Pastry Chef and continuously strives to provide high quality, tasty sweets, pastries and sandwiches; and the freshest, healthiest breads in town. Through the course of his career, Magno has received various trainings in HACCP and Food Safety, and he continuously strives to make sure the kitchen remains at the highest level of cleanliness and conforms to all food safety (ISO 22000) standards.

 

Hany Keyrouz

Hani received his Technical Baccalaureate in Culinary Arts from Dekwaneh Institute, Beirut, Lebanon in 2006. His career did not end here, he was so ambitious to learn more. In 2009 Hani completed Hotel Management from Centre International Des Sciences Techniques (CIT) and in 2017 he has received training certificate in Food Safety & Hygiene. Hani worked in many restaurants like Paul, La Mie doree and Kay Catering. In 2017, Hani moved to Abu Dhabi and started his journey with Slim’n Lite-UAE, where he takes the position of Executive catering Chef.

 

Raghda Keblawi (Slimming Manager)

Raghda graduated with a bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut in 2006, with distinction. After receiving her hospital training where she encountered a range of diverse medical conditions, she was assigned as a senior dietitian for 6 years in one of the first diet centers in the UAE to apply healthy food practices and handle clinical consultations. As part of her job, Raghda did a lot food catering and safety courses related to HACCP and ISO and she was involved in many social events in governmental and private sectors to increase awareness in nutrition & healthy eating and living practices. In 2013, she joined the Slim’ n lite team with a great ambition to continue her passion of educating people and leaving a distinct mark in the field of Dietetics and Food Service.

 

Hala Dandachi (Nutritionist)

Hala graduated with a bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut in 2013. She has completed her Clinical Nutrition training in Mount Lebanon hospital. Hala then moved to Abu Dhabi   and started her career with Slim’n Lite. She assisted in developing healthy menus and recipes.
