Lee’s fitness story:
I was challenged physically and mentally whilst rowing a constant, relentless shift-pattern of 2 hours on & 2 hours off, using down time only to eat, make water, do repairs & attempt to catch up on well deserved rest- in a boat not much bigger than a standard family car. There is little wonder that a mere 350 people have completed, whilst almost 10 times that number have been to the summit of Mount Everest & nearly twice the number have been into Space.
I try to live my life to the maximum and since 2012 I have completed the ‘Tough Guy’ and ‘Tough Mudder’ events in the UK and have competed in the 2014 ‘Desert Warrior’ challenge and the ‘Spartan’ race in Dubai. In December I completed the Worlds toughest rowing race; The Talisker Atlantic Challenge; held every two years that consists of over 20 teams aiming to be the first to row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean.
